Missionary Medical, in collaboration with the Missionary Department, has developed a mobile smartphone application called Missionary Care that allows you
access to ID cards, care and treatment information, and personalized health care tasks.
Important information about how to properly access and use Missionary Care can be found in the attached guide. Links to video tutorials are provided below.
We encourage you to review this information and keep it for future reference.
In addition, here are some key items to note about the Missionary Care app.
- Your mission leadership may provide additional training on the app.
- The app is available on the Google Play and Apple iOS App Stores.
- We strongly encourage you to download the app and login using your church credentials so you can receive task notifications, access ID cards, and other information.

Missionary Care Guide
About
The Missionary Care mobile app uses technology to help make the missionary experience better, particularly regarding infield healthcare management. It attempts to:
- Reduce the administrative burden of caring for missionaries by providing tools and care management systems that ease that burden.
- Provide a system that guides consistent chronic case management worldwide. Help reduce emergency treatment and early releases.
- Create transparency, support, and structure for all those involved in coordinating the care of missionaries.
- Further leverage the opportunity to coordinate benefits with a missionary’s primary insurance; deferring cost and reducing claims expense.
- Help missionaries that are living away from home for the first time to manage their own healthcare. Provide best
in class knowledge library to assist missionaries and leaders.
Services
Missionary Care allows users to access family insurance and Missionary Medical ID cards, general and personalized care and treatment information, and individualized
case management tasks, in an intuitive mobile application environment. Missionary Care can be accessed via the mobile (smartphone) app found in the iOS and Android (MaaS360) app stores.

Prefield missionaries have access to the app through the Google Play and Apple iOS stores.
Infield missionaries will have access to the app through the MaaS360 missionary application library on Android devices.
Each user must log in using their church account information. Each individual must use his or her own username and password and should never
log in using someone else’s credentials.

Privacy
The Missionary Care application will display and allow users to store health information. If a user shares a device, they are responsible for
logging out and deleting any information they prefer not to have shared.
